Langley Holdings named the region’s biggest manufacturing firm.

Langley Holdings plc was revealed as the region’s largest manufacturer, at the Nottingham Post Top 200 Companies 2019 awards ceremony yesterday.
Langley subsidiaries manufacture in Europe, Asia and the US and has several production plants in the UK, including Reader Cement Products Ltd, the UK's largest independent producer of dry blended cements located at Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.
The full list, compiled by Nottingham Trent University, ranks each company with their registered offices in Nottinghamshire by annual turnover.
Langley employs circa. 5,000 people and has an annual turnover of c. €1 billion.
Langley Holdings’ Reader Cement Products Ltd facility at Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, produces over 100,000 tonnes of bagged cement products annually.
Reader has been producing high quality cement products since 1985, originally for the mining industry. Today the company produces a full range of blended cement products to the construction, civil engineering, tunnelling and DIY markets. The company operates state-of-the-art blending and vacuum packing ISO9001 quality assured facilities
